The spacious lounge aims to entertain, as it morphs its modern concept into a tropical paradise, minus the cost of airfare, but instead offering an all-inclusive $55 drinks package from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. (Ticket pricing will go up, $55 tickets are for a limited time)
While reminiscing the year gone by and relishing in the year to come, party goers can bid adieu to 2011 with an open bar that lasts from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. and enjoy a delectable appetizer buffet by Chicago’s favorite cater, Catered by Design.
A live samba band will provide a welcoming vibe at the door while the resident DJ gives you a taste of Rio nightlife, adding your favorite hit songs into the soundtrack for the celebration. With colorful ambiance and show-stopping decor, Lumen transforms into the biggest Carnival celebration on earth for one night only, with staff parading in a beautifully festive costumes, to the heartbreaking beats of the drums and samba, on the biggest "stage" on Earth.
Clad in richly colored fabrics, custom signature LED lighting, and live entertainment, Lumen is the place to be! As as the clock strikes midnight, a champagne toast will make its rounds, concluded with plenty of end-of-the-night munchies.
